EUIPO study: IPR-intensive industries and economic performance in Latin American countries

EUIPO published a study, which is a compilation of the main findings of five reports for trade mark, patent, design and copyright-intensive industries in different countries of the region including Mexico, Peru, Argentina, Uruguay and Chile. These reports have demonstrated the importance of IPR in the region.

The study gives a short description of the different elements of IPR registration; a comparison of the contribution of IPR-intensive industries and a short description of the economic contribution IPR plays in each country’s IPR-intensive industry. …
